The Maths Behind the Calculation

Area = (Length × Width) × PitchMultiplier × (1 + Waste%)

We calculate the flat footprint area and multiply it by a 'Pitch Factor' (based on the slope) to get the true sloped area. We then add the waste percentage. Finally, we divide by 100 to get 'Squares'.
