BMI vs. Body Fat Percentage: Which Matters More?

Body Mass Index (BMI) has long been the standard for assessing health, but is it accurate? Not always. Especially for athletes or those with high muscle mass, BMI can be misleading.
The Flaw in BMI
BMI only considers height and weight. It doesn't distinguish between muscle and fat. A bodybuilder might be classified as 'obese' on the BMI scale despite having 5% body fat.
Why Body Fat Percentage Wins
Tracking your body fat percentage gives a much clearer picture of your metabolic health. It tells you exactly how much of your weight is lean mass versus adipose tissue.
